MEGAMAN^® Adds DIALux Plug-in to Its Website, Allowing Direct Data Import for Any Lighting Design Scheme

(Hong Kong – 16 November 2016) MEGAMAN^® is pleased to announce an upgraded feature of its website – the “Send to DIALux” function for luminaires and lamps. Send to DIALux is an independent open-in function, combined with web search, to ease project specification, enhancing your lighting design experience with the full range of MEGAMAN^® products.

The “Send to DIALux” button now features on each product page on the MEGAMAN^® website, allowing users to instantly download and open photometric files in DIALux format (ULD files for luminaires; DXLAMP files for lamps). ULD files contain realistic 3D models of MEGAMAN^® luminaires, including product geometry, tiltable structural parts, precise tilting ability, installation characteristics, and cut-off effect. Where DXLAMP files allows users to assign particular lamp photometry to pre-selected luminaires in DIALux, visualizing colour temperature, beam angle and intensity.

With this universal function on the MEGAMAN^® website, designers and specifiers can now apply their product choice instantly to a lighting simulation from the website to DIALux, and be amazed by the improved visualization and convenience.
